We might not have had any more at the time but we were the only country that knew how to build them and we could have used the leverage that gave us to demand ANY concessions that we wanted.

We were the only country since Rome to have TOTAL dominance over the entire world.

If Hitler or Stalin had the bomb first they would have just demanded that everyone surrender or face the consequences.

But, we're the U.S. and we don't work that way. We're NICE...
