But it is readily apparent that it is not working. One could write it off to a really lousy president, but it is more than that. Since Obama became president, the EPA alone has issued 25,000 pages of new regulations. It is not surprising to find that even "positive" jobs reports involve the loss of hundreds of thousands of full time jobs; businesses simply cannot suffer through that kind of regulatory burden. Add to that the idiocy of Obamacare, for which regulations are being withheld for political reasons, leaving business to simply GUESS at what is coming down the pike. This country will not begin to recover economically until the regulatory burden is lifted.
