Bentway, some people believe with all their heart and some are in doubt and some people are sure.

What do you call someone in doubt?

Now what do you call someone who does not believe.

I think it is important to have a dividing line between those who are truly in doubt and those who are not.

I don't know for sure, but I am sure enough to risk eternal damnation for my entire family.

What we seem to be debating is the difference between believing and what,? knowing?

No one can know for sure. It is impossible. If we use knowing as he criteria for an atheist we might as well throw out the term atheist altogether.
