Dave would chain smoke if the Koch's made cigarettes. When shopping, he ONLY buys Koch-made products.

It is more complicated than he is making out. Per usual. Anything that is blackened or caramelized is going to contain carcinogens. Dunno about cranberries, but they also contain anthocyanins. Which is an anti-oxidant. Containing carcinogens and chemicals that fight cancer is pretty common in the food chain. There was an issue of Science back in the 1980s that published a groundbreaking study on the issue, The cover had these alternating red and green diamonds. The green ones said 'eat', the red ones said 'die'... Formaldehyde has no anti-oxidant properties.
