Interesting comment. The only point I was trying to make is that it is down right silly to blame the specific problem in Japan as a lack of stimulus spending. Like the other article I posted said; they have built train stations at every creek crossing!! Your point about banks never closing - even when they should - is likely one more point in a complicated economic debate. BUT Japan did stimulate, to claim they didn't is just wrong.
