Democracy is all there is!

No it isn't. Constitutions, political and cultural traditions, even the possibility of civil disobedience (in the extreme going all the way to the possibility of revolution) restrain governments.

Democracy doesn't itself restrain governments, concern for liberty does, and democracy is one outlet for it. Of course to you unlimited government power is just "more democracy", sometimes, oddly enough, even when its power exercised in an unpopular way (and thus arguably not very democratic).
