I watched an episode of "An Idiot Abroad" that partially featured Israel. I'd never want to visit. It's an armed camp with soldiers with machine guns everywhere. Last nite, I watched a 45 minute documentary produced by Aussie TV. What Israel has to do to maintain control over the West Bank is astounding. They are arresting boys as young as 8-9 in the middle of the nite and taking them in for interrogation. They literally tell the Arabs which streets they can walk down in their villages and which ones they can't. Because the settlers attack the Arab children on their way to school, Israeli soldiers have to accompany the kids to and from school. The documentary is long........45 min......but very compelling if you want to watch it: youtube.com Its really clear the Israelis have gone over the edge. What little sanity there existed has been lost. Both sides are now totally and completely without any kind of rationality or moral compass. I am sure the Israelis are trying to come up with a final solution when it comes to the Palestinians. I wish it were possible to keep our gov't from giving any more aid to either side............let them sit in the shit they have created.
