I'm just saying , for better or worse, the law favors my viewpoint here. I always love to hear phrases like this one "the law" as if it's some disembodied dicta, running free of human affairs, human creation, human modification. In this particular instance, it's the product of a deeply partisan, even politicized, supreme court seriously misreading the constitution as it applies to these times; and the product of long term political efforts to limit women's ability to control their own bodies. No doubt there is a Shakespeare quote here. Just can't think of the right one.
