There's little doubt that we can't have a conversation, k. I'm being told I'm too dumb to follow your ideas and then told I'm too emotional. Certainly doesn't push the conversational marble down the road. To summarize. I gather you think religion (whatever that is) and science (whatever that is) are in almost existential conflict at that abstract level. And you summon the ME by way of illustration. I argue that the level of that statement is wrong. Much, much too abstract for discussion. Some religious interpretation fits that mold and some uses of science fit that mold. Far from all.
