I'm with Brown. Dems should embrace these cuts..."Look what they want to do to you".

Brown will argue that Republican criticism of SSDI is part of a “divide and conquer” strategy designed to pit supposedly undeserving recipients of disability insurance (who are allegedly defrauding the program, threatening its financial foundations)

Didn't Paul Ryan's family collect disability insurance after his father died even though they were wealthy business owners? Or am I incorrectly recalling that?

This is what I mean when I suggested that Krugman comments about the tax increase were a bit weird. Maybe Krugman is changing his thinking;

Sumner argues that the results have vindicated the market monetarist point of view. The US economy has grown steadily over the last 18 months, despite spending cuts and tax hikes that economists such as Paul Krugman warned would be a drag on the economy.
