Raising corporate taxes is a non-starter! Most on the left and right believe we should cut corporate taxes to make us align better with the rest of the world. ............Yes to the second part of Krugman's comments; tax away on capital income.

So Krugman has no idea why Corporations are hoarding cash. Could it be a purely psychological thing? We just went through a period of time when it made no sense why businesses - especially banks - were so reckless in saving their money. Might corporate America be learning from their mistakes? I think so - even as I know it won't be long before they forget.
