You might as well give us your opinion as 1. no one will care anyway and 2. it might make you feel better and 3. you can be almost absolutely sure that nothing will change because of an opinion shared on SI. 1. True 2. False. 3. True. plus 4. No one is going to change their mind because I expressed an opinion. I have relatives and friends who live in Israel, I have strong ties to the region and I suspect that I know more about its history than probably any one posting on this thread and the vast majority of people posting on SI. I feel the tragedy of the situation, not just for the Jewish people living there but for the Arabs as well. Opinions always simplify and are nonsense. So I'll pass on the opinion wheel. It is irrelevant.

But that "small" number of people have been causing rather large problems ever since I was a baby (and before that). And I don't see ho articles will help that. I've read several books, from the propagandists of both sides, on the issue- and as I have no ox to gore, I am thoroughly disgusted with both sides. You penned that pretty well. I feel the same way. I had to think how to express it and deleted my first idea.

I have watch it unfold like a movie and have no idea how to feel? I cannot parse it out either. And don't really want to.

I would be better put, teaching a girls high school in Africa.
