By concluding that the failures in governance can be attributed to Obama suggests a failure in our education system to teach both the mechanics of our system and recent history

Disagree. Those events will happen far too far into the future to do anything about near term elections. And they ignore the massive effect of the ability to influence perceptions through the media. Which translates to who has the most money. Well . . . .?
