If you believe everything of one person, just because you have faith in that person - well how is that any different than what with what the Fundamentalist Christians do? God gave us a brain to use - not to blindly follow. I'm certain there are folk who do that. But I don't know any. That's on the one hand. On the other hand, I'm not going to spend a good bit of time reading and critiquing the work of someone who I can't find their track record. On Krugman, for instance, if I saw a piece from Stiglitz, Summers, even some of the Chicago crew, who wrote some critical stuff, I would take the time to understand it. And would, most likely, learn something in the process. Whomsoever I would wind up agreeing with. But Sumners. I don't think so. Far too thinly argued.
