ed-- FWIW, the answer to your question is no. they will blame everyone in the world but themselves. all this SDRAM stuff really knocks the wind from the sails of those who viewed it as MUs saving grace. as for the lowcost pc stuff, the mediaGX would get a substantial boost from SDRAM since main memory is used for video functions as well as system requirements. i look for a phaseout of EDO from 90% of new machines by the end of next year. i think the market will accept it, and that the premiums SDRAM receives are neither substantial, nor are they likely to continue for a substantial period of time. good luck to all, trey
