If you educate a ghetto------that ghetto will vanish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why did we not have much of a ghetto problem or violence or broken homes with single moms raising kids alone before LBJ ushered in his Great Society program? Most amazing that was BEFORE Civil Rights Act of 1964 when open racism in jobs and housing in this country was legal and the black man really did not get the fair shake he gets today. I am with you on education but the breakdown of the family unit, substance abuse and the subsequent lack of personal responsibility are the major culprits of the decline the past 50 years. Talk to any black person with some grey hair and life experience that has succeeded and he or she will agree with me GOP is not immune either of course mixing church and state yet again. I am Catholic but the social problems and enormous cost to society and the local communities of unwanted teen pregnancy in the ghetto's far surpasses any religious beliefs IMHO. Don't get me started on the fallacy of trickle down or our record wealth disparity or the NRA all are part of the mix but at this point you know I am with you on that as well..
