I was thinking, there is one thing I would say about the Jews and Israel we must all remember. What the Jews suffered by the Germans in Europe was too terrible to even comprehend. Worse they were trapped. No country would take them in. The Germans killed almost every Jew who remained in Europe. 6 million! In the US 94 or 96% of Americans were against even letting in the Jewish orphans whose parents Hitler had killed even though they all had homes to go to (racism). Put that in American's exceptionalism pipe and smoke it. It was a shameful stain on our country. They vowed never to let that happen again and their back was against the wall. So it was natural they would go back to their homeland. Hoping to carve out a safe place to live. Anyone would have done that given their dilemma. But the Brits controlled the area at the time; and before they left they forbid the Jews to have any weapons to defend themselves when they left. And everyone knew the Arabs were intent on wiping them off the face of the earth when the Brits left. But once again the Jews devotion to education saved them. They bought WWII munitions plants and smuggled them into Israel and when the Brits left and the Arabs attacked somehow the Jews were able to beat them back. And then again in 1967 when they were attacked by 100 million Muslims, and Adlai Stevenson plead on the floor of the UN to not allow another genocide, the Jews surprised everyone and had to be pulled off of the attackers least they conquer all of the ME. I feel as time went on though, the right wing (always the right wing) radical Jews ruined it for everyone with their irrational behavior making it impossible to carve out a two state solution.
