The key word here is opportunity. The right wing folks I find always turn the discussion around to "giving money/dole to those folks who do not want to work (welfare)." The debate is more towards providing opportunities to inner city kids to move forward such as; good, free education, scholarship based advanced college opportunity, soft loans for college fees etc."

Mitt Romney had those opportunities. His family had the money to advance him a business loan (recall his quip during the campaign where he said "Go ask your father for a business loan"). Similarly for Koch brothers. Off course, we should not belittle the fact that they worked hard, made some prudent business decisions and thereby, to use your term, built the business they inherited.

Notice how the Tea Party folks always harp on the fact that "we should not leave a large debt for the next generation." Let us view it differently and instead strive for ensuring that we leave a world behind where they can live in and where they have all the opportunities to not only erase the debt but to also move forward to enhance their and their children's lives.
