Only the pigs, not subject to withholding, who have figured out how to elude their entire tax bill, usually by taking advantage of loopholes like the one Steve is advocating for their solar panels...

Me for one. Many, maybe even most people who are in business for themselves pay little or no tax - doesn't mean they don't make and have lots of money. To the second part of your statement - competitiveness. You have to compete for the business - those who build the better solar panel should ultimately succeed. That is why you want Capitalism involved.
