Since I have mentioned Central Fund of Canada, CEF on the Amex, as a proxy for gold bullion, I'sd like to point out that this colsed-end fund is currently trading at a 15% discount to NAV. Want gold on the bargain table? Marked down an extra 15%? it's a fact.

I consider this something of a sign of a bottom. A no-brainer for someone with a ton of money would be to buy CEF and short gold. Actually it might not work. But for anyone who wants gold you can't beat buying it at a discount. I think the companies are even better. Bought ABX about two weeks ago. A little too early.
