I was wrong on that.

I don't look at the thread I'm on when I respond to people and it just seemed unusual for someone to present that POV.

If I express a somewhat "centrist" opinion I expect to be disagreed with, but not to that extent, at least from the left.

Again, I was wrong to suggest I was being "attacked" in any way.

My apologies, although I don't apologize for my general opinions.
