Metacoment, ZIRP = Zero Interest Rate Policy. It is what the Fed is doing right now. It is the Fed's version of the pedal to the medal stimulus to try to goose the economy. Of course, it introduces an unbelievable amount of distortion and malinvestment that creates bubbles that burst with severe consequences, just as happened in 2008, but the Keynesians white wash that away as unforeseeable. This is why all of this is such a joke to anyone with a good math background. Economists are notorious for their lack of belief in chaos theory, which is why they get so much wrong so often.
