I don't know if this good news or ok news but,

I went to my doctor on 12/01/97 and then got around to checking for a claim today on the web interface Oxford is now providing to it's member's to track claims (this service is available for an employer or doctor participating in an Oxford plan as well). I see that a claim has been "logged" from my doctor. It status has not been changed to paid yet as other claims have been. I am guessing that it is good news that the claim has been logged within 14 days and now all we need to know is when the claim gets paid.

Does anyone else know if their insurance claims are being "logged" and/or paid in a timely manner?

I will let you guys know when the claim gets paid.

Yes, I get the same impression from what I read and hear following threads, etc. So I would agree that present customers will stay.

My questions still is, however, how difficult or easy it would be for an individual to defect OXHP if he wanted to. So if anybody can enlighen me on this, I'd appreciate it very much.

And also, we probably will have to wait and see whether OXHP can increase their enrollment base. I'm curious to see the numbers as of 12/31/97, but at this point I do not expect a fall in enrollment from 09/30/97.
