>>>the mm's are so ruthless<<<

It's true! I went down to Goldman Sachs office, not one person named Ruth! Then to Merril Lynch, same result! Smith Barney, Dean Witter, ditto ditto! I went to the office of every single market maker, no Ruths! They are all completely Ruthless! When I asked why, I was told, "Well, we have to keep up our image". Where is the SEC when you need them?

Barb!

I wouldn't necessarily jail those thieves,
but clearly mm's should return the money they have
stolen, apologize to the public and clean up
their act.
This has nothing to do with conspiracy, since
evil mm's do not even try to hide their
intentions. Just look at how yhoo was trading
last 3 days, and you will understand. Does
everything have to be on paper for people
to realize that things are not perfect in
this country?
If you still disagree, name just one stock
on nyse which behaves like yhoo, amzn, etc.
Even aol has a relatively small capitalization
(1 billion), even though they are doing some
business. If aol was trading on nasdaq, it would
probably be worth 10 billion right now.
The problem is with nasdaq, not with conspiracies.
It has been explained on this thread several times
how mm's fix prices, so why are you being so
obstinate with admitting there are fundamental
problems with how nasdaq is organized?
Are you a mm yourself, or have any vested
interest by calling those problems 'conspiracies'?
