From Mike Allen's morning newsletter.

--"Republicans Who Signed Up For Obamacare This Year Are Pretty Happy," by HuffPost's Paige Lavender: "A poll of Obamacare enrollees published Thursday by the Commonwealth Fund found that 74 percent of newly insured Republicans are happy with the plans they bought. ... The survey [also] revealed the current uninsured rate among working-age adults in the U.S. has dropped to 15 percent, down from 20 percent in July-September 2013 -- meaning an estimated 9.5 million people have gained coverage since then." huff.to

That is such a bullshit post. If was the most spectacular success in history you would find something wrong wit it. That is how you roll.

Of course it is working and will only get better. Especially for the old, young and people with pre existing conditions.

Premiums are down and quality is up and it has nothing to do with future generations except in your mind.

9.5 million now have good insurance and even people with pre existing conditions.

Millions more would have insurance f the Republican governors would accept the free medicare, but they are willing to sacrifice lives just to spite Obama.

That is sooo sick.

>> You would just hate it if Obama care works well wouldn't you?

It would be great if it worked. But we know the outcome; it doesn't get better from here, only worse.

"Working" is defined differently in thoughtful minds, though, than the way it is defined in yours. In your mind, it is perfectly acceptable to provide medical care to today's population by dumping the debt on future generations. In my mind, that is an unforgivable moral outrage. And this is the most fundamental of many differences between your view and mine.

There is also the fact the government has shown itself incapable of delivering good health care on this scale. Only private enterprise can do that.

>> Saving all those lives helping all those sick people.

If that were a factor I would consider it. Unfortunately, it is clear that Obamacare will do neither, and will in fact have the opposite effect of killing people (already happening) and making it more difficult for sick people to get treated.

>> Do you seriously think people are better off without health insurance than with it??

I think people are better off with affordable health care, and health care is less affordable now than before ACA.

>> Good lord.

No shit.
