Paul:
<<<<I have very big problems getting used to the fact that I've became
bearish. 3 already mentioned us in his post.>>>
To be a true bear you need damaged appendages, perhaps you could
drop an anvil on your foot or stick finger in dike.
<<<< Best move for me is to buy puts on Heineken, my favorite beer-brand. Next week I will be probably selling my mother.
I like that brand also so the stock is probably overvalued.
Can your mother cook???,perhaps you could send a photo by E.mail
How much is a good mother worth today?
Might make a deal.
Hope you are not thinking of moving to Rotterdam(GGG)
As Mr. C would say,"We feel your pain". Is he trying to make
another date with your Queen??? The press would like to hear about
it

Paul,

I would hope that no one will ever call you a "Candle Stick"

However, buying puts on Heineken ... If the market does fall to pieces, no one will be able to drink champagne, but everyone will feel like drinking.

BTW: I'm told DELL servers don't have a Y2K problem... Is buying a DELL server a solution to the Y2K problem?

regards, 3

<<In Holland we call guys like us NSB'ers (the organization that
collaborated with the Germans in WW II).>>

God it's not that bad. The object is to make money in the market, right now I see no way to make money going long for the rest of 1997, for that matter the first few months of 1998 will be no better. Of course we will see rallies just like we have seen after the Oct. sell off, but after seeing the big boys (IBM,CSCO,CPQ, etc. etc.) die on the vine and go down again, I have seen enough. We had great econ. numbers on Friday, real good numbers, but no reaction to the upside, they are forgotten already, that was real telling to me.

<<Maybe you could give me a few hints how to deal with it.>>

There is no reason to post trash, or rub it in, or dance on graves and bask in others misfortune or repeatedly post about how correct you are. Or tell others how wrong they are.

Greg
