The point I'm making is that Obama is at least as far to the right as Raygun, who could not be nominated by this version of the Republican Party. Obama makes Nixon look like a progressive. "I guess we can hear those tea party Americans laughing with their evil voice;" They are too busy telling each other stories of The Raygun Who Lives Only In Their Heads. He's the guy who they think wanted them to bring guns into church. The Mulford Act was a 1967 California bill prohibiting the public carrying of loaded firearms. Named after Republican assemblyman Don Mulford, the bill garnered national attention after the Black Panthers marched on the California Capitol to protest the bill.
