Yeah, actually I remember calling At Home early this year and a tech there told me the same thing (but he said not to say he told me). I was crying about how expensive it would be for a small business to have multiple lines.

This means that you can call one machine a server and have it connected to machines all over the house. You pay just one @Home connect cost. Should work with NT, Solaris or Apple (Rhapsody) computers without too much trouble. I have not done it but others have.

This will be a hot software product! Make a push button program that does all the work for the average house or business. This brings up a new topic - suppose I own a bar. You buy one @Home connection. You then wire the bar so every table is on the bar's LAN. Question: Can I have a terminal at every table connected to the internet for just one @Home connect charge?
