damned, damned, damned...... i do not understand why the argentinieans switched their game..... they succeeded in controlling the german forwards, macherano and zabaleta played extremely well.... but then, they began playing more defensively, hoping for the counter-attack.... and they did have a few chances to score, but blew them away..... during the extra time the germans went out on full attack and more aggressively until they got their gol in a single argentinean defense slip..... which proved to be enough to win the WC.... both teams played well, but the germans were the ones able to convert (the gol).... goetze became the german hero of the day, (in the same way that iniesta did for spain in 2010).... congratulations germany...... well played, a definitively deserved win.... angela merkel, i am sure is delighted and celebrating..... (i assume that putin is also celebrating -both present in maracana) Deutschland - Fussball Weltmeister 2014 p.s. and congratulations to you for the accurate prediction too.
