Chris, would you care to fill us in on the education of a market maker? What formal or informal training did you receive to do what you do? What would you recommend, in terms of reading or coursework, to an interested outsider?

I have read that a stock's volatility drops by 20%
on average when the co leaves nasdaq and move to the
big board, nyse. Why is that?

What do MMs do for msft and intc? I have advocated
that intc move to the big board and when they do, the
mms will be wailing and gnashing their teeth.

Have actually posted this to John Hall ofintc ir
dept on the intel thread.
