It is often done with criminals. These kids are alleged criminals who are required to appear in court, and who well might not show up for their appearances.>>

That thinking is sick, IMO. They can be retained without ankle bracelets. They are kids.

I want those kids to be treated gently and comforted. I would like to see them clothed, fed, given good housing and put in school until they have their day in court.

Given the power and wealth of this country we can do that. And I want that to continue until the congress and president put some intelligent and comprehensive immigration policy in place.

There is no need to satisfy the jingoists heartless desire for revenge by being brutal to these kids!

We spend trillions on two dumb ass wars, and trillions more giving tax breaks to the rich, but cannot spend a few billion helping some poor kids fleeing gang violence?
