Wow looking back, it's when the Wild West of trading had just started. Volatilities were off the charts! I got big time screwed one time by Ameritrade. I was up $8,000 and couldn't sell the position in Booksamillion...No way out. Ameritrade couldn't get a basic sell done with confirmation for HOURS, by then the whole game was over. I dumped them right after that. Another trade I will remember the rest of my life was the IPO Ubid. I made over $30,000 in one day on that one. If I held overnite, I would have made about $150,000, and I only bought about 1,000 shares at around $15 to $20, but it gapped up to over $150 the next morning after I closed out near the end of the day near $50 to $60 a share. When I did the UBID trade, I had gotten smart and paid for Realtick with a Real Broker (JPR Capital) so that the BAMM shit would never happen again.
