How will this agreement between Nortel and Arel effect the value of each stock. Arel last traded at 3. In view of the Nortel deal, wouldn't that seem to make both Nortel and arel, arclf attractive. I looked for arclf on SI but found nothing.

biz.yahoo.com

There is another wire from Reuters about the same deal that came through today 12/16. When this news gets out couldn't it create some buying opportunities for both Nortel and Arel?

biz.yahoo.com

I just bought 20,000 shares of Arel at 3. Was it a good move, or a mistake? I can easily get out with only a slight if any loss. I would appreciate an opinion from source more qualified than I am. I bought it on the strength of the two news reports.
Thanks for any help.
