I happened to come across Michael C. Hall of Dexter/Six Feet Under fame last night in the movie, "Killing your Darlings". It's about Allen Ginsberg's time in Columbia and all of his wild "beatnik" friends (Daniel Radcliff plays Ginsberg). Hall had a full beard, and his slightly fuller face made him appear (at least to me) a bit like the late Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Oh, I thought the movie was good.

I also found "American Hustle" to be verrrrryyy sllooowww for most of the movie. Based on the overly enthusiastic reviews, I had expected to be entertained without having to devote as much effort as I had to. It generally ground to a halt when JLaw wasn't onscreen. Not a good choice when you're tired, although there was no way to know that in advance.
