My guess is that Asensio is pretty clever and cute. If he ever
mentioned Schering Plough in his Zona reports, it would be
tantamount to making Schering a part and parcel of his "fraud"
allegations. And he probably knows that a company with the size and
power of a Schering would never sit still for that.

He probably assumes that Zonagen being small, they will not
fight him legally. May be a right or a wrong assumption...we'll
see.

You get much too hung up on Asensio's writings, IMO. Forest and the trees syndrome. I'm not sure what the Schering agreement has to do with Vasomax being an efficacious ED drug. Has Schering never invested money in a drug that has failed before? That's not a facetious question, I don't know their track record. But I'd bet that they have more failures in deals like this than success. By the number of deals of course. They probably only need 2 out of 10 to hit to come out with good numbers on the balance sheet.

If I found Asensio's credibility to be beyond reproach I'd already have established my short position, and gotten it somewhere ~31-32. But like any analyst his recs are good for a starting point to research a possible position, not someone to follow blindly.
