I am not for doing anything that is illogical or unfair. We just pissed away 6.6 trillion in tax cuts to the rich and 4 trillion on two stupid ass wars. We sure as hell can help 50,000 desperate kids. The cost would be peanuts in comparison. I am willing to fund those programs as an American and willing to pay higher taxes. In fact I feel we must start thinking more globally or the human species simply will not survive. We need a sort of United states of the world. How else will we stop nuclear proliferation, global warming, worldwide pollution, over population, worldwide pandemics and on and on. We must see ourselves and one species living on spaceship earth, or we all die. Working together is our only out.
