My worry about earnings are the iPads.

They don't seem to be an item people replace. The next generation will probably have some compelling features but for this quarter and the next they may be a drag.
True, that. A strong hint to the validity of your statement comes from Apple itself in how long they carried the iPad 2.

I think as soon as Apple adds the fingerprint sensor, the replacement cycle will start anew.

I think you just hit on why AAPL has a newfound interest in business. Replacement cycles in business are much shorter than consumer.
