and what would the US do if hundreds of rockets hit us from Canada?

Palestinian Authority rule under the leadership of Arafat suffered from serious mismanagement and corruption scandals. For example, exorbitant bribes were demanded for allowing goods to pass in and out of the Gaza Strip, while heads of the Preventive Security Service apparatus profited from their involvement in the gravel import and cement and construction industries, such as the Great Arab Company for Investment and Development, the al-Motawaset Company, and the al-Sheik Zayid construction project.

.they had every chance to make Gaza a thriving place but failed

deliberately keeping Gaza on the edge of starvation is brutal

The Egyptians are far more responsible for that than the Israelis. The Arabs do not care if the residents of the Gaza Strip starve to death as long as Israel will be blamed.

I used to feel holocaust sympathy for the Israelis. Their actions toward the Pals have totally driven that from me. There are no "good guys" to root for in this conflict. The Pals seems to be idiots, the Israelis, thugs.

>> I am sorry, deliberately keeping Gaza on the edge of starvation is brutal. Missile attacks on civilians is brutal. Ethnic cleansing is brutal. Deliberately keeping a population in poverty is brutal.

This is not at all a fair characterization of what is occurring, except the Arab missile attacks on civilians. There is no ethnic cleansing. There is no deliberate keeping a population in poverty. Hell, the Palestinians could have made lives for themselves the way Israelis did had they chosen to do so. If Gaza is on the edge of starvation they did it to themselves by focusing on hatred rather than bettering themselves.
