Picked this up on the QNTM thread. It is a very informative article concerning the Asian market and details the pros and cons of the situation. It seems as though SEG, INVX and other dd related companies that have facilities in SE Asia will do fine.

Z,

From the June 1997 10Q. See 2/3s of the way down the 10Q...

Exhibit 10.3(2) Amended and Restated Master Agreement, dated April 30, 1997 between Registrant and MKE

Exhibit 10.4(2) Amended and Restated Purchase Agreement, dated April 30, 1997 between Registrant and MKE

As can be expected, the most sensitive sections are blacked out, but there is enough to suggest that Quantum absorbs most of the risks of this long-standing business relationship (note 1993 Inventory Management Agreement cited at the end of the document) with MKE's risks well-defined and contained from the time it qualifies Quantum-approved components through the assembly process and to the shipping of products.
