Your logic then has the US as barbarians in Iraq Let's see..........for nearly a hundred years, the Israelis have been killing the Palestinians who were mostly farmers and ranchers, and were no match for the more urban, affluent Zionists who wanted Palestine for themselves. The terrorist groups that arose from the Zionists...........Irgun, Stern Gang/Lehi and the lesser Haganah........were no better than Hamas. They blew up hotels, housing and ships at will. At one point, the Zionists discussed a final solution for the Palestinians Since Israel's independence, the Israelis have plotted and annexed more and more of the Palestinian lands. They control the huge water aquifer under the West Bank of which 4/5 of its production goes to Israel. Ariel Sharon was involved in the massacre of thousands of Palestinians in a Lebanese refugee camp.......later he was elected PM. The Palestinians on the WB not only are prevented from going to other parts of the West Bank but there are streets in their towns they are not allowed to walk down. In many of these towns, Israeli soldiers have to accompany the Palestinian children to school; otherwise the settlers will stone them. In the meantime, Israeli soldiers seize children in the middle of the nite and interrogate them to see what info they can get on their parents. The Israelis are only marginally better than the Nazis they condemn. If you are an American Jew and feel the need to defend, do so but understand I have very little sympathy for the Israelis. They have made their bed and I am very unhappy that American money........my tax money......supports what they are doing.
