I don't know the source.......you did not provide a link..

The numbers are posted everywhere if you bothered yourself to look.

Palestinian rocket attacks
on Israel
By year
Hamas is (and has been) at war with Israel and has rejected all offers of cease fire and negotiation. They want war and to now complain they are out matched is rather stupid. Whether it be water, food or the medicine meme - it can all be negotiated - sending random rockets is not a proper way to start a conversation. Not to mention Egypt could supply all these things but they have for some reason decided Hamas is a terrorist group and cut them off with a blockade of their own.

Why do you think Israel is not taking the steps needed to bring this ongoing conflict to a close?
You mean like agreeing to two cease fires?

Since Hamas rejected both - Israel will now do what must been done and destroy the capability to launch rockets and destroy tunnels. They have no reason to accept any cease fire now - in fact they may reject the next one even if Hamas agrees - until they have finished the job.
