Shorts don't "harm" a stock. That's nonsense you picked up from the Iomaniacs or the penny stock pushers.

Fundamentals harm or hurt a stock, because investors will always demand a return on their money. Yahoo is producing zero economic benefit ($.45 a share in losses TTM), yet it commands a $3 Billion market cap. Therefore it will trade lower...much lower. Momentum is a temporary fad. Fundamentals are everything...and always will be.

Peter, I borrow shares every morning in case I get the itch to get back in. I haven't had any problem finding shares. It's not August anymore. Short's don't cause price declines anyway, they just profit from them.
