I'm not exactly sure but I believe the shelf life is guaranteed at 1 kilogram up to 6 months from the date of manufacture...and decreases time proportionally to 6 ounces at 1 year..of course...the product must be proved to be defective prior to refund.

I think it is because of increased production rate during summer.
Also 45 days was as of end of October. What is it now? Wholesalers are not getting the product.
On sunday I checked couple of pharmacys, they never had a complaint about Muse, all told me that there has been a shortage since manufacturer can't make enough. They had Muse in stock. My guess is wholesaler inventory is down now.
