I have not been active in the industry for the last three years, and it is an industry with very rapidly changing technology. (One of EK's problems is the filmless society and the fact that the printing industry is about to bypass film entirely and go directly from data file to printing plate or to diret imaging on press.
I would suspect that EFII's biggest market was the copier and proofing world; the Kinkos of the world. I see a big demand for a technology that can handle small file formats simply and in the background for the consumer. If you look at the push towards digital camera and low cost color printers this Christmas you can see there should be a big demand for a simple color correction system. Perhaps this is what Sculley has and sees?
I stand corrected on the LEAPS, in looking at my notes I picked up some of the JUL 20s (EFQGD) and sold some JAN 15 Puts (EFQMC). Obvious this position needs to be re-thought come Monday unless the spammer is correct.
