>> .they show you Israeli soldiers taking kids and preventing people from walking down the streets of their towns.

I don't think soldiers are torturing kids, which was the claim. And I can certainly envision scenarios where it would be appropriate for soldiers or police to limit access to certain areas. If the military leadership has issued an order that an area is to be sealed off that is the soldier's responsibility.

The basic problem is you're operating under the assumption that Arabs who are routinely committing terrorist acts against Israelis should not be restricted. I think they should be. If Israeli soldiers or police have arrested a kid 10 times, that is a pretty good indication the kid is being a threat. It isn't like these people have nothing better to do than hassle kids.

How is it they came to find the SAME kid 10 times to be a pain in his ass?

The kid is clearly involved in activities he should not be involved in. Interrogating him, alone, isn't torture. And if he is being enough trouble to get himself detained 10 times, he is committed enough to the terrorist operation to lie about his experience.

This is how this works. Some idiot newsman who has a predetermined bias just acts as though the kid is pure as the driven snow. He isn't.

They let the Australian documentary crew walk down those streets, but not Pals. Case closed.
