I think many people overemphasize when a person is a bull or bear.. it shouldn't matter.. all it matters is whether you open new positions or stay in cash/close positions.. the bull/bear label is meaningless. it's what you do according to the mkt and protecting your capital. just a side note. that i wanted to share.. hehe

Hi bearshark, I agree with you completely. If I recall, the NAZ October intraday low, if that's what you mean, was around 1462 or so. Absolutely, a bear market if we take that out. If it continues lower from here, I believe we will take out those lows. The rally, if any, cannot fail. If it fails, a break of last week's lows will be fatal to the bull. A break of the October lows is clearly confirmation, but I'll be short before we get to that point. This week is most critial, but what does anybody know. Socrates once said, "The only thing I know for certain, is that I know nothing for certain." Have a good one. GZ
