Good observation. CSCO is only 6 points away from its 200 moving average.

Your post just turned all the amateur shorts on SI into savvy traders like yourself.

>>>The savvy traders would only short a stock when it dips below the 200 ema. The amateur shorts on SI could use some homework--look up the charts of CSCO<<<

Actually, the *most* savvy traders of all are adept enough to anticipate the moves of the amateur traders who employ such popular indicators as the various EMAs and plain DMAs for basis of establishing long/short positions. The most money is made by those who are first the the party and first to leave.

Looking for some ideas on the following from people on this thread:
A recent blurb out of "Too Make a Long Story Short" in IBD stated "INTERNET MEETS WIRELESS; A $19.2 Bil Market in '02"
"The North American market for equipment and software that connects wireless users to the Internet will grow from $1.3 billion in '98 to $19.2 billion in 2002, says a study by Killen & Assossiates. That's a compound annual growth rate of 71%. ......."
Does anybody out there have good ideas about some of the purer plays in this area (i.e. equipmaent and software companies connecting wireless users to the internet). Thanx in advance for replies. 71% compound growth out to 2002 sounds like a good niche area to me!!!
