Further update. South Korea's stock market is up over 7.50% at
the moment in reacting to the joint declaration news.

How recent is the following information? I thought this occured nearly 2 weeks ago prior to the initial agreement of the $55B IMF bailout?
Thanks
TI2

South Korea's three presidential candidates have signed a joined
declaration to uphold the IMF's terms. This has eliminated people's
fears about the political uncertainty associated with their presidential
election and assured the continuity of the government' policy. The Korea
stock market is up > 5% at this moment.
So even S. Korea is not going away from the surface of the earth.

Look forward for a good week on Wall Street.
