Those maps are misleading in that they don't recognize that 70% of the land is owned by the state - Turkish empire, British mandatory government, then Israel.

>> Actually they are reducing Gaza's footprint; not necessarily withdrawing. Gaza is a third of what it was in 1947. There was a time when Gaza actually touched the WB. Israel's annexation of the WB and Gaza is one of the biggest scams this world has seen.

These kinds of absurd maps are the reason for your confusion.

The reference to "Palestinian Land" is just as ridiculous. There was "Palestine" and it had nothing, whatsoever, to do with "Palestinians". In fact, these people are called "Palestinians" today only because they aren't Jews and happen to live in the Jewish land called "Palestine".

“Where are the civilians supposed to go?” the reporter asked.

“I don’t care,” Joan responded, picking up considerable steam. “They started it. You’re all insane! They started it.”

And she’s off: “How do I know? ‘Cause I have been over there. That’s how I know. And I wish the world would know. And BBC should be ashamed of themselves, and CNN should be ashamed of themselves, and everybody stop it already.

Then the reporter brought up a pro-Palestine Instagram from Selena Gomez.

“Oh Selena Gomez? Oh yeah that college grad,” she said as she walked away. But then turned around and continued. “Oh well if Selena said that,” she said. “Let’s see if she can spell Palestinian.
