Well, in a matter of speaking:
Will your little cabin have plumbing, wiring, wood stove?
  • Plumbing = big jug of water
  • Wiring = before I put the interior siding on. I didn't have that done by Sturdy Built because I didn't want to foreclose on wiring possibilities. I may just go solar with 12 volt lighting and an inverter for AC.
  • Wood stove = big yes, when I find a good one. I had a stove jack put in so I'll be ready for it. Wednesday was a big day that started out clear as a bell and ended with buckets of rain and trees down all over the neighborhood. I was afraid the stove jack would admit water to the insulation, but they had it sealed pretty well. I want to reinforce it, though. \
  • I'm thinking of getting a stove like this, with a water jacket for hot water.
